![]() ![]() Also, where a radio has an unknown password or pass code that not being able to supply to the CPS kills reprogramming attempts, you're talking about a reflash restoration of radio's settings store if there's no user accessible multiple key press on power up style hard reset. The probably easier method to avoid code plug mode limitations or even some regional locked opening/usage of foreign compatible code plug saves if to ask whoever donates to send you their CVS export set and use the CVS import (if it exists) in the Motorola cps.īecause you're importing plain text, rather than compressed and/or encoded binaries, there is virtually nil chance any of the CVS files will carry an region lock/mode lock tied data in content.Īnd CVS is far easier to use with a spreadsheet to bulk add data to in bulk than in-CPS editing allows for.īut again, it's all subject to the previously posted notes. MOTOTRBO CPS AA REGION SOFTWAREJust keep in mind, before you desperately seek a gifted code plug, that over and above regional etc restrictions (not sure about Motorola specific CPS, but in DMR - cps software typically chokes on code plugs not designed for the actual mode the transceiver is set to operate in, operational limits vs open transit mode). You'll need MOTOTRBO version for Australia to program this radio. In Australia / New Zealand region, the DP4400 whilst appears to be the same radio as the EMEA DP4400 is, in fact, a different region radio. But nevertheless, you need MOTOTRBO USA / North America to program an XPR7350 - and it will not program a EMEA model. For example, there is no DP4400 in the USA but an identical radio called XPR7350. In EMEA and USA, there is a distinct difference between the radios - and they're called different things. There are more regions including South America, Australia/New Zealand, China etc. The first two letters ( MD) represent EMEA region, AA would be USA/North America. ![]() This model number is for a EMEA UHF DP4400 (non-E) version. If you look on the back of any Motorola Solutions radio, you will find a number that looks something like this " MDH56RDC9JA1AN". MOTOTRBO radios and software are region specific. In which case, even with a DP4400 code plug, you would still not be able to modify a DP4400. The only way this is possible is that you have the non-EMEA version of MOTOTRBO. I have two different CPS, but in this two I haven't a DP4400 codeplug. ![]()
